Wine Tourism & Event Assistant

Karine Verdeau was born in Coutras, in Gironde, a few kilometres from the Saint-Emilion and Pomerol vineyards. Following her BTS in Tourism in Bordeaux in 1992, she worked on the "Colbert" warship museum for the last 13 years it remained in the Port of the Moon. Her main responsibilities were related to visitor reception, organising events, and developing sales in the ship's boutique. When the ship left Bordeaux, Karine went to work for a small wine estate in the Entre-Deux-Mers area, where she was in charge of developing wine tourism.

Job and know-how

In late 2007, following a meeting with our communication manager on the Colbert, Karine was offered the opportunity to join Vignobles André Lurton.

In addition to visitor reception at Château La Louvière, she also assists Véronique Bouffard in aspects related to wine tourism and special events.

Working at Château La Louvière, one of the few wine châteaux in Bordeaux to be a listed historic monument, Karine is able to cultivate her two passions: history and wine.
