The Affordable Bordeaux Buzz - Earthy aromas are followed up by dark berry fruit flavors and a supple texture in an Old World wine with New World style.

Lurton does a great job making wines that have wide appeal are, by Bordeaux standards, affordable. This is pleasant enough with blackberry and vanilla aromas and plenty of juicy, dark fruits and hints of spice in the mouth. (Rick Van Sickle)

Here André Lurton has crafted a remarkable technical and commercial success heralded by an impeccable presentation and a nose of candied berries. Structurally no less convincing, opulent and very ripe, heady, admirably classic in style. Oak and grape still need some time to meld harmoniously. A textbook demonstration of what a Bordeaux should be.

Ambassador par excellence of the Graves region and the AOC Pessac-Léognan, André Lurton knows his trade. And Château Bonnet can be relied on to top the lists of reliable Bordeaux. Its owner staunchly advocates wines that are both full-bodied and balanced, just like this Reserve Cuvée, which could be considered an archetype of the genre. Flawless in character, balanced and graceful, revealing depth and charm.

Simple in style, a textbook example of ripeness and balance, opulent, ripe tannins, freshness and length. (Note : Appreciated)
