Rosé de Bonnet Rosé

Home > Our Wines > Our wines > Rosé de Bonnet Rosé

With its freshness and notes of currant and raspberry from a short maceration before pressing, it is the wine of all meals. Just fresh, with surprising length, it is a real value.

Chateau : Château Bonnet
2016 Rosé de Bonnet label
Appellation : Bordeaux

Wine style

Fresh and Fruity

Grape blend

Merlot 50% / Cabernet Sauvignon 50%

Weather

2016 was one of the finest vintages in the past 20 years. Winter was exceptionally wet and mild, and it rained a great deal in spring until June. However, the weather changed radically in mid-June, turning warm and quite dry, with cool nights. Ideal conditions for growing excellent wine grapes!

Tasting Comment

Appareance

Thanks to just the right amount of skin contact, 2016 Rosé de Bonnet has a very pale colour with brilliant salmon-pink rose petal highlights.

Nose

Intense peach aromas with jasmine nuances

Mouth

Delicious and satisfying The elegant fruity flavours are enhanced by a beautiful balance between acidity and an impression of sweetness. Redcurrant and citrus flavours extend into a long fine aftertaste. 2016 Rosé de Bonnet is ideal on a summer evening with friends. It is an absolute treat with salads, sushi, poultry, etc.
