Visit to Château La Louvière by the talented young Chinese wine taster Hao Shen
On the 2nd of October, Hao Shen, a gifted young taster widely respected in China, visited Château La Louvière.
Hao Shen studied and worked in Australia and France, for six years, visiting major vineyard regions and meeting winegrowers everywhere he went. He developed a passion for these terroirs and their wines, and published a book: "Tasting notes by Hao Shen".
However, Hao Shen did not stop there and has just created his first tasting note website in China. The name alone makes one want to visit: "le paradisduvin". More than 7,000 wines from around the world have been tasted and evaluated. Of course, Bordeaux has pride of place! Written in English and Chinese, his notes are mostly aimed at wine professionals.
We notice with each passing day how quickly the Chinese market is growing and the interest in wine among young and middle class consumers.
Hao Shen well and truly fell in love with wine. He feels that every wine is unique, as is every tasting...
During his trip to Bordeaux in early October, he visited our region's major wine-producing regions, from the Médoc to Saint Emilion, by way of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, tasting at a number of famous estates.
