Les Vignobles André Lurton, currently one of the largest wineries in the Bordeaux region, is a family company.
André Lurton, the company’s founder, was a wine maker. For almost 70 years, he dedicated his life to his vines, as only a man born in a wine chateau could do.

In March 2012, following a restructuration of the company, Credit Agricole Grands Crus subscribed to a capital increase of "Les Vignobles André Lurton" Compagny.
Jacques Lurton now runs the family estates, he was nominated president of the group by his family in June 2019.
His vast winemaking experience around the world over 30 years, has given him inspired and creative vision which he “now” transmits to the Vignobles Andre Lurton.
Les Vignobles André Lurton has 640 hectares of vines, planted in the best soils over 6 prestigious Bordeaux appellations in Bordeaux.
The company’s head-office is at Château Bonnet in Grézillac where André Lurton was born. The red and white vineyard covers almost 300 hectares in several appellations: Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux Red and Rosé. For many years, Chateau Bonnet’s white wines have had a long standing international reputation for their quality.
However, Les Vignobles André Lurton also includes 260 hectares of vines in Pessac-Léognan. This appellation was created by André Lurton and selectively groups the best ‘terroirs’ of the Graves region – the historical birth place of the Grands Vins de Bordeaux.
Les Vignobles André Lurton is also a partner in the management of other wineries, such as Château Barbe Blanche (Lussac-Saint-Emilion AOC) co-owned with Mrs André Magnon.

Women and men
Technical excellence of women and men working for our group is deployed throughout the production process, from management of the vineyards to wine-making techniques. They combine tradition with latest innovations, in constant pursuit of quality and an ever-present respect for the environment.
We sell approximately 4 million bottles of our wines each year, around the world. Partly through Bordeaux wine merchants but also through our dynamic commercial team who distributes our wines in the French market and through importers in 40 countries.
Our group "Les Vignobles André Lurton" employs nearly 200 full-time employees in Gironde.

Producing great wine is an art. We must innovate to appeal to our customers, adapt ourselves to their needs and understand and satisfy our distributors’ demands. This requires flexibility, reactivity, expertise but also an active imagination.
