Group Winemaking Director

Anne was born in 1973 in the Béarn region, near Pau, (southwest France), home to the famous Jurançon vineyards. Born into a family of farmers, she spent her childhood picking grapes from the few vines harvested on the family farm. Passionate about science, Anne learnt about the art of wine tasting thanks to her father and naturally went on to complete a degree in Oenology at the University of Bordeaux, in 1997.

Job and know-how

Anne began her career as the first ever Director of the Grézette cellars, in the Cahors appellation, where she remained for seven years. In 2005, she returned to the Bordeaux region, more specifically the Pessac-Léognan appellation, where she had previously completed several internships and discovered her soft spot for white wines. Upon her return, she spent the following year working as a stand-in cellar master at Château Larrivet Haut-Brion.

She then joined Château de Fieuzal, a Graves Great Growth, where she worked for twelve and a half years as a cellar master. In her never-ending quest for new experiences and challenges, she was appointed Director of Winemaking at Vignobles André Lurton in July 2019. Fully aware that everything starts from the vine and grapes, she lives by the motto "Fine grapes simplify winemaking, since wine is the result of shared expertise in the vineyard and cellar". Anne has set herself the task to perpetuate these values for future generations.
