Wine Tourism & Event Manager

Véronique Bouffard was born in Bordeaux. Once she had obtained her degree in Applied Foreign Languages, she spent several years in Ireland and Spain. She then settled in Paris, where she spent 12 years working in the oil services industry and at the Arthur Andersen consulting firm. In 1996, she decided to make sweeping changes in her life path and came back to the Bordeaux area, to her family home and vineyard in Loupiac, on the right bank of the Garonne River. Her interest in viticulture led her to study for a professional agricultural certificate, which qualified her to take over the running of her estate at Château La Yotte.

Job and know-how

Véronique Bouffard started working for Vignobles André Lurton in May 1997. Her first task was to organise the celebration of "100 years of Winemaking at Château Bonnet", held during Vinexpo that year. Then, in August 1997, she was asked to become the first Communication Manager, working closely with the sales department.

She now holds the position of Wine Tourism & Event Manager, based at Château La Louvière and assisted by Karine Verdeau. She shares her expertise and enthusiasm for wine with the many visitors to the estate.
