Château Bonnet White

Home > Our Wines > Our wines > Château Bonnet Blanc

Very Sauvignon, this wine of André Lurton at an affordable price, is an example of "everyday wine": succulent aromas of pear and tropical fruit, nervous and expressive on the palate, clean finish and well-defined . Intelligent, vibrant easy to drink yet.

Chateau : Château Bonnet
label of 2021 Château Bonnet white pdf
Appellation : Entre-deux-Mers

Wine style

Fresh and Fruity

Grape blend

Sauvignon blanc 85% / Sémillon 15%

Weather

2021 was marked by very capricious weather: heavy rainfall in the spring, a frost episode in April causing major damage... But warm days and cool nights followed one another from mid-August onwards, ensuring the success of the vintage.

Tasting Comment

Appearance

Limpid, pale yellow colour, with light silver reflections.

Nose

A beautiful intensity, nose is marked by a tasty mix of exotic fruit notes (mango, passion fruit) and citrus (grapefruit).

Mouth

After a frank attack, there is a nice intensity in the mouth. The balance is good between roundness and freshness. We find again notes of exotic fruits (mango, candied orange) and citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit). The whole is very gourmet. Nice finish. This wine will be enjoyed as an aperitif, but also with a seafood platter, an avocado with shrimps, or grilled fish.

Consumption period

2022 - 2024
