Château Bonnet Réserve White
Château Bonnet Réserve is made from selected plots of just a few hectares from among the estate's 120 hectares. This white wine is produced sustainably from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes.

Weather
There was record rainfall during the first half of 2013. Spring was very cool, even cold (May and June), and this caused a major delay in vine growth (flowering). Much more clement weather (warm and sunny) arrived in July and lasted until the harvest.
Tasting Comment
Appearance
Pale yellow with green and gold highlights.
Nose
The wonderfully concentrated bouquet has delicate toasty oak in the background, accompanied by pineapple, citrus (grapefruit), and white peach aromas.
Mouth
There is a wonderful impression of sweetness on the palate, as well as a touch of fresh acidity and a whole range of fruit and white flower (acacia) nuances. Fermentation and ageing in barrel have conferred good ageing potential and locked in the wine's freshness and youthfulness after 8 months in bottle. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with prawn and salmon dishes.

A well-balanced wine with pleasant ripe fruit aromas (pear and apple), as well as a mineral side and a touch of pepper. Fairly crisp, long finish. A great wine to go with poultry and fish.
