2018 was one of the warmest years since 1900, featuring above-average temperatures, the second hottest summer to date, and abundant sunshine… Heavy rainfall in the first half of the year was followed by persistent, near-record drought conditions in September.

Tasting Comment


Beautiful, deep ruby-red colour with purple highlights.


The nose is particularly pleasant and intense, with tremendous aromatic complexity. Black fruit notes (blackberry, blackcurrant) come to the fore, accompanied by slightly oaky overtones.


Starts out beautifully round and sweet on the palate, with well-balanced notes of oak. Black fruit aromas (blackberry, blackcurrant) follow through to the palate, making for an eminently enjoyable wine. The lovely structure is underpinned by firm, elegant tannins, and particularly harmonious, well-balanced flavours. This wine is ideal served with roast chicken, grilled red meats or delicatessen meats. Thanks to its remarkable ageing potential, it is worth waiting a few more years.

This Bordeaux has a well-balanced bouquet of blackcurrant and liquorice, interspersed with oaky notes reminiscent of mocha. The palate is soothing, with a traditionally firm yet smooth tannic structure. A Bordeaux that is guaranteed to please at the dinner table. 2023-2026.
