Château Bonnet Red

Thanks to expressive fruit – but without excessive concentration – Château Bonnet's red wine is unquestionably charming. In fact, it is a benchmark in Bordeaux. The wine is best enjoyed on the young side, although the quality tannin ensures good ageing for several year.

Tasting Comment

Appearance

Merlot and Cabernet in equal proportions, shows a deep colour fringed with violet.

Nose

Elegant nose of ripe fruit, echoed on the palate, concentrated and highly aromatic.

Mouth

Harmonious, soft and opulent on the palate. Intense fruit, blending perfectly with mellow, melting tannins. A well-crafted Bordeaux, excellent now, perfect with magret or a roast with chanterelle mushrooms. (January, 2012)
