Château Coucheroy White

Weather

There was record rainfall during the first half of 2013. Spring was very cool, even cold (May and June), and this caused a major delay in vine growth (flowering). Much more clement weather (warm and sunny) arrived in July and lasted until the harvest.

Tasting Comment

Appearance

2013 white Château Coucheroy has an attractive, brilliant, pale yellow colour with green highlights.

Nose

The bouquet is intense and quite expressive, with a pleasant combination of citrus (lemon) and tropical fruit (pineapple, lychee) along with subtle hints of white flowers.

Mouth

Wonderfully fresh on the palate. Starts out with great vivaciousness before going into a long, interesting aftertaste. Plenty of Sauvignon Blanc fruit. The aromatic complexity on the nose follows through on the palate with attractive fruity flavours and citrus overtones. This delicious wine is ideal with fish and seafood dishes.

2015 - 2020
