2021 was marked by very capricious weather: heavy rainfall in the spring, a frost episode in April causing major damage... But warm days and cool nights followed one another from mid-August onwards, ensuring the success of the vintage.

Tasting Comment

Appearance

Colour of this Château Goumin is pale yellow, with silver highlights.

Nose

The nose, of great intensity, reveals a delicious alliance of exotic fruits (mango, passion fruit) and citrus fruits (grapefruit).

Mouth

A frank attack announces a nice intensity in the mouth. Fatness and freshness are perfectly balanced. Notes of exotic fruit (mango, candied orange) and citrus (lemon, grapefruit) make this wine very pleasant. The finish is very successful. This is a gourmet wine, which can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with a platter of oysters, marinated prawns or even fish à la plancha.
