Château Guibon Rosé

Home > Our Wines > Our wines > Château Guibon Rosé

Nestled on slopes in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, Château Guibon's history goes back many years. The monks at the neighbouring abbey are known to have made wine on this small estate as long ago as the 17th century, when it was already much appreciated by connoisseurs. The rosé wines are light, aromatic and fruity.

Wine style

Fresh and Fruity

Grape blend

Cabernet Sauvignon 50% / Merlot 43% / Sémillon 7%

Weather

2021 was marked by very capricious weather: heavy rainfall in the spring, a frost episode in April causing major damage... But warm days and cool nights followed one another from mid-August onwards, ensuring the success of the vintage.

Tasting Comment

Appearance

Colour is a pretty salmon pink, very pale, with silver highlights.

Nose

The nose of this Guibon rosé, of a beautiful intensity, is particularly aromatic and charming. It is marked by a delicate palette of floral notes (rose) and small red fruits, slightly acidic.

Mouth

The palate is balanced, pleasant, with great suppleness and freshness. A lot of delicacy for this fruity rosé, marked, once again, by notes of red fruits and English sweets... Nice length. This rosé is best served chilled, with a buffet of cold meats, a nice salad or a summer grill.
