Château Tour de Bonnet White

Château Tour de Bonnet exists in white, rosé and red versions. This wine was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction of a belvedere by André Lurton's grandfather, Léonce Récapet.
The white wine is fresh, fruity and floral. It is an archetypical Entre-deux-Mers that goes beautifully with all fish and seafood dishes.

Appellation : Entre-deux-Mers

Wine style

Elegant and Fruity

Grape blend

Sauvignon 50% / Sémillon 40% / Muscadelle 10%.

Weather

Spring was very trying, with considerable rainfall leading to fungal diseases of all sorts. This called for very close attention in the vines until the 14th of July, when the weather changed durably for the better.

Tasting Comment

Appearance

Very brilliant with green highlights.

Nose

The clay-limestone soil is conducive to slow, even ripening and retaining intense fruity aromas. 2012 Château Tour de Bonnet has a great deal of these.

Mouth

Floral and citrus flavours coat the palate. These go into a long aftertaste that is enhanced by the wine's freshness, roundness and balance. This is a ideal match for seafood platters or goat's cheese.

2012 Château Tour de Bonnet is lacking neither in body nor richness... Perfect with fish in a sauce.

Maxi Cuisine - A wine to serve to a connoisseur. Brilliant greenish-yellow colour and intense white flower aromas with a whiff of lime. Fruity on the palate, with hints of passion fruit and grapefruit.  Superb balance between tartness and roundness. Beautiful quality.
