Château Tour de Bonnet exists in white, rosé and red versions. This wine was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction of a belvedere by André Lurton's grandfather, Léonce Récapet. The rosé has a bouquet with floral nuances as well as a velvety texture on the palate with just the right amount of freshness on the aftertaste. Very long, pleasant finish.
Fresh and Fruity
Merlot 33% / Cabernet Sauvignon 66%
Winter and spring were very mild, but the summer of 2014 did not live up to our expectations: it rained heavily in July, and August was much cooler than usual. However, starting in September, a miraculous Indian summer with high temperatures, was very favourable to ripening.
This wine has a luminous, fairly pale colour with beautiful almost silvery highlights.
The nose is absolutely charming, with floral overtones as well as hints of red fruit, citrus, etc.
The wine is long and complex on the palate. Its attractive vivaciousness makes it a treat as an aperitif, with delicatessen meats, pizza, flambéed prawns, etc.
