Do you have a special event to celebrate or are you planning a diner with friends? We will help you to find the perfect wine.
Hand picking, whole grape pressing, and fermentation and ageing in oak barrels with bâtonnage (lees stirring) are but a few of the quality-oriented winemaking practices enabling us to make the most of superb grapes. Featuring fruity and floral overtones, this wine consistently leaves the impression of a vivacious, distinguished wine.
Fresh and Fruity
Sauvignon blanc 100%.
Temperatures were much higher than average from February to June, with much less rainfall than usual. There were already signs of drought at the end of Spring.
This wine’s pale golden highlights seem to have captured the sun's rays…
Entirely made from Sauvignon blanc, it has typical varietal aromas of tropical fruit (passion fruit).
The wine is quite smooth on the palate, with a delicate tang that gives decided freshness to the ripe fruit. Understated, barely perceptible oak adds further complexity. This wine is very attractive as of now. Served not too cold, it is ideal as an aperitif and with salads or seafood dishes.
Part of the large empire of Andre Lurton, the 2011 Cruzeau is a nearly equal part blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It reveals an attractive textural mouthfeel along with medium to full body, good ripeness, and smoky, black currant and licorice characteristics. This full, flavorful, supple Pessac-Leognan should continue to gain complexity over the next decade. It is another sleeper of the vintage.

2011 white Château Cruzeau, this pure Sauvignon Blanc also obtained one star. It features a wide range of aromas (lemon, pineapple, vanilla and toasty overtones) and is very rich, fresh and long on the palate.
Lots of fruit here as well as beautiful minerality. An opulent, charming, very aromatic white wine. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of vivaciousness.
Web only - Lively, with salted butter, chamomile and peach flavors, featuring a fresh, grapefruit rind-tinged finish. Drink now through 2014. (James Molesworth)
Aromatic citrus bouquet. A lovely clean, elegant, rich wine, ideal with food.
Totally elegant, fruity, mineral and vivacious, this is a particularly pleasant dry white, balance and charming.
