Vines have been grown on Château de Quantin's gravelly rises since the 17th century. These produce delicious, fruity, dry white wines with great aromatic expression. This fresh, crisp Pessac-Léognan can also be enjoyed young.
Elegant and Fruity
100% Sauvignon blanc.
Winter was harsh (many days with frost) and spring rather chilly. There was a great deal of sunshine in 2010 and a long period of drought from 21 June to late September, which was favourable for ripening.
Pale yellow, very elegant.
An attractive blend of fruit and barely noticeable oak on the nose, dominated by exotic ripe citrus.
The palate is equally pleasing, typical sauvignon, a fine accompaniment to scallop kebabs or grilled poultry, or even a lentil salad…(January, 2012)
