Do you have a special event to celebrate or are you planning a diner with friends? We will help you to find the perfect wine.
Divinus is Château Bonnet's prestige cuvée. Our winemaking team has taken the greatest of care every step of the way to produce a wine on a par with the great growths. Made from perfectly ripe grapes, this cuvée displays softer fruit, more body and more pronounced oak when young than the Château Bonnet Réserve.
Rich and Powerful
Merlot 80% / Cabernet Sauvignon 20%.
Although the first quarter of 2006 was cold and wet (precipitation in March was 3 to 4 times greater than average), this was above all a hot year – in fact, the second hottest since 1950. There was a brief period of extreme heat in July, but the month of September was very mild and dry.
Divinus Red 2006 is a truly great Bordeaux. The color is an astonishingly deep red.
The powerful, complex nose combines black cherry, redcurrant, toasty notes with hints of cocoa and coffee.
The palate is clean and concentrated, with powerful though elegant tannins. The long, persistent finish shows licorice and chocolate, with some intriguing spicy notes that tempt the taster to envisage unusual food combinations, such as with Asian or Indian cuisine. (January, 2010)

Powerful and full-bodied.
A very attractive bordeaux dense, with ripe, complex fruit and a solid tannic framework, needs time to fine down.
A little austere, with angular tannins, but this also shows some good plum and currant fruit. Medium bodied.
