Do you have a special event to celebrate or are you planning a diner with friends? We will help you to find the perfect wine.
Divinus is Château Bonnet's prestige cuvée. Our winemaking team has taken the greatest of care every step of the way to produce a wine on a par with the great growths. Made from perfectly ripe grapes, this cuvée displays softer fruit, more body and more pronounced oak when young than the Château Bonnet Réserve.
Rich and Powerful
Merlot 70% / Cabernet Sauvignon 30%
2015 was the third warmest year since 1900... Drought conditions, above-average monthly temperatures and sunshine (in the first half of the year), cool nights and hot weather in August accompanying véraison (colour change) were all ideal for the vines!
Attractive violets and dark flowers with plums and blueberries lead to a palate that has quite an assertive shell of forthright tannin. Good length, too. Try from 2022. (James Suckling)
The 2015 Divinus de Château Bonnet, the estate's top wine, is impressive. Crème de cassis, smoke, licorice, tobacco, menthol, pine and graphite are beautifully delineated in the glass. Beams of supporting tannin give the wine its sense of proportion and overall balance. This is a strong showing. (Antonio Galloni)
With a ripe, dark cherry and chocolate profile, the wine is round, forward and fresh, with a fruity sweetness in the round textured finish.
Wow. This is really excellent this year with lots of blackberry and dark chocolate character. Full body, round texture, and chewy finish.
