Château La Louvière's second wine, L de La Louvière, is made with the same care and attention as its older brother. This wine is immensely attractive thanks to its roundness and fruitiness. It is produced according to traditional methods with a few modern touches in a prestigious location where art reigns alongside winegrowing.

Cabernet Sauvignon 70% / Merlot 30%
Winter and spring were very mild, but the summer of 2014 did not live up to our expectations: it rained heavily in July, and August was much cooler than usual. However, starting in September, a miraculous Indian summer with high temperatures, was very favourable to ripening.
The lovely, deep, ruby-red colour of the second wine of Château La Louvière is a delight for the eyes.
The elegant bouquet features a palette of fruity aromas, with hints of oak.
On the palate, this red L de La Louvière is beautifully soft and rich, with well-integrated oak and hints of red-berry fruit (redcurrants). It has a long aftertaste and makes a delicious foil for duck fillet with prunes and characterful cheeses.
