Discover Château La Louvière

Discovering our châteaux

Have you decided to visit the city of  Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to enjoy discovering its culture and history? If so, please make sure to take advantage of your trip to go to the wine country to become acquainted with local vineyards, châteaux, wines and the people who make them. This is all part of our regional heritage.

Vignobles André Lurton invite you to visit some of their estates to discover their extraordinary architectural and winegrowing heritage, as well as their unique "vins de terroir".

Although all of our estates are not open to the public, one of the most beautiful ones will welcome you all year round to show you the cultural, vinous and gastronomic delights of Bordeaux.

Parc La Louvière 2019

You might start Château La Louvière, an architectural jewel dating from the 18th century. This listed historic monument is located in the Graves, the historic cradle of the great wines of Bordeaux, just a few km from the capital of the Gironde department.

We will be glad to share the estate's 700 year-old winegrowing background – as well as explain the various activities going on at a modern wine estate. Of course, you will also be able to taste the wines produced on the fabulous gravel terroir, which gave its name to the Graves region.

Do you have a few spare hours?  Please don't hesitate. Make an appointment and we will be delighted to show you around!
